The Equestrian Center in Yanbu Industrial City was established by the decision of the Director General of the Royal Commission in Yanbu No. 3454 / J / 416 dated 1/6 / 1416H, to form the members of the proposed constituent committee of the equestrian club in the industrial city of Yanbu. An equestrian council was formed to manage the Yanbu Industrial Equestrian Club according to the decision of the Director General of the Royal Commission in Yanbu No. 278 / s / 419 dated 26/3/1416. The Saudi Equestrian Federation was approved by their letter No. 406/99 dated 30/10/1419 AH, to grant the Federation membership to the equestrian center in the industrial city of Yanbu. The Equestrian Center in Yanbu Industrial City is a new addition to the Royal Commission's efforts to provide a wide range of recreational and sports facilities
The Equestrian Center came to be one of the facilities that contribute to the dissemination of equestrian sport and provide the means and facilitate ways to practice this ancient sport and occupy the leisure time of members for the benefit of physical, health and social, as well as contribute to raising the technical level of equestrian sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Effective in equestrian tournaments in all regions of the Kingdom and jumping is one of the most important activities of the Center has organized many tournaments in the Kingdom, including the Saudi Equestrian Federation Shield Championship and founder Cup King Abdul Aziz, may God rest his soul
